About Martha Perske

Martha has collaborated with her author husband, Robert Perske, on three books: Hope for Families, New Life in the Neighborhood and Circles of Friends. Many of the illustrations in the Community Bridges Web site were first published in Circles of Friends, People with Disabilities and Their Friends Enrich the Lives of One Another.

The Circles of Friends book jacket states, "In this warm, sensitive collection, Robert and Martha Perske offer true stories and issues to ponder, concerning Circles of Friends-friendships between people with disabilities and so-called normals. They show how these circles cut across age groups, generations and races, and how the hearts and worldviews of everyone can be enriched."
