Live-In Opportunities


Seeking active, patient people or families in the Merrimack County and northern Hillsborough County area, open to inviting a person experiencing a disability to live with them in their home. Home Providers will help the individual to lead a successful, rewarding life by developing relationships, participating in activities, and becoming a positively-known member of the community. Families involved in activities at home and in the community preferred. Some individuals may have a day program with staff, while others could be with the family throughout the day. Monthly stipend in return for support.

Community Bridges supports individuals throughout Merrimack County (except Hooksett) plus the towns of Deering, Hillsboro, and Weare.


Community Bridges is seeking an active and caring person or families that are interested in opening their home to an individual that is experiencing a disability to live with them. We currently are in search of an individual, couple or a family in the greater Concord area to become shared Home Providers.   We are searching for two separate homes for the following gentlemen:

(1)   First gentleman is a warm, humorous, and friendly man in his late 50’s. He will need a handicapped accessible home with a first floor bedroom.  Responsibilities will include but not limited to providing overall supports with daily living such as nutrition, health, personal care assistance with bathing, toileting, and dressing.  Will also need support with mobility and transfer s, medical appointments, medications administration, and transportation.

(2)   Second gentleman is an active young man in his early 20’s.  He requires an active shared Home with a young couple, family or single male located close to public transportation.  Responsibilities include but not limited to providing overall supports/teach daily living skills. Will also need support with medical appointments, medications administration, and transportation.

Applicants must be compassionate, patient, and have a passion for enhancing others’ lives. The selected Shared Home Provider will receive training, ongoing supports, and monthly stipend.  Any previous experience working in health/medical field, or shared home provider is preferred.
