Family Support Services
Family Support Services are available to any family that has a family member with a disability and resides in Merrimack County (except Hooksett), and the towns of Deering, Hillsborough and Weare.

Community Bridges provides

  • Information about, and referral to, various community resources and services. We can share information with you about community resources such as childcare opportunities, government-sponsored benefits, and community health services so that you can make the connections that will assist your family.

  • Short and long-term planning assistance so you can envision and plan for a meaningful future for your child. The future planning process we offer can help you identify goals for your child and suggest ways you can take action to make those goals a reality.

  • Collaboration and advocacy with other community agencies. At your request, we can help you advocate for the opportunities, supports and services that your child needs within schools, childcare and other community agencies.

  • On-going education and training opportunities. Some of the learning opportunities we have sponsored include autism, language development, and assistive technology. The Family Support Council works on behalf of family members with disabilites.
