2004 Winner: Veronica Ricker, Home Provider The Board of Directors established the Rehlander Award in 1992 as a way of providing special recognition to those people who have demonstrated qualities that are at the heart and spirit of the mission of our agency. In presenting this award, we are particularly interested in acts of creativity and discovery that have broadened our community's social networks to include others, regardless of their level of disability or difference. These social networks help to build trust, strengthen reputations, and acknowledge the contributions we make to each other.
