Memo from the Executive Director regarding the Coronavirus

March 4, 2020

To: All Staff, Vendor Partners, Families and Home Care Providers
From: Ann Potoczak, Executive Director
RE; Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19)

This memo is to provide you with information about the Coronavirus and what Community Bridges is doing to address the issue as it takes shape. As you know, this is a very fluid situation with daily updates from the CDC, NH Department of Public Health and NH Department of Health and Human Services.

Community Bridges has reviewed its Continuity of Operations plan (COOP) and is prepared to take action if necessary. A Continuity of Operations plan addresses emergencies from an all-hazards approach and establishes policy and guidance ensuring that critical functions continue and that personnel and resources are relocated to an alternate facility in case of an emergency. More information will be forthcoming if there is a need to activate this plan.

As you enter the Community Bridges office, we ask that you make use of the hand sanitizers throughout the building. If you do not feel well, please speak to your mangers or case manager to reschedule meetings and work shifts. Universal precautions, like hand washing, covering your cough and limiting exposure to others if you do not feel well is the methodology we have been instructed to reinforce by the Department of Public Health. Please take a moment to review the Self-Observation Guide link below, provided by NH Division of Public Health.

We urge you to review the websites from the Center for Disease Control and the NH Division of Public Health Services for the latest updates regarding the Coronavirus. They also offer practical information on how to remain safe from the germs and what to do if you think you have come in contact with someone with the Coronavirus. We have also included a link to Ready.Gov to help you plan and prepare for any potential emergencies.

We suggest that everyone use your best judgment related to your own situation. Our top concern is to ensure everyone’s health and well-being.
