RSA 171-A  Services for people with developmental disabilities

This law enables the Department of Health and Human Services to establish, maintain, implement, and coordinate a comprehensive service delivery system for developmentally disabled persons. In New Hampshire, we believe that people with developmental disabilities and their families should be provided services that emphasize community living and programs to support individuals and families, beginning with early intervention. This law details the roles and responsibilities of the Department of Health and Human Services, designated Area Agencies, and associated partners within the service delivery system.
