Senior Administrative Support Specialist 

The Sr. Administrative Support Specialist is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to the agency operations.  Much of this support will consist of working with other admin staff to provide assistance with their tasks in times of increased workload.  The Sr. Administrative Support Specialist will assist with the Intake process for ages 3 and over by providing document processing (scanning, uploading, drafting letters) through the eligibility process.  The Sr. Administrative Support Specialist will have set day-to-day responsibilities but have the flexibility to assist where the effort is most needed at any particular day/time to keep workflow on target toward departmental goals. The Sr. Administrative Support Specialist will track the work/tasks/projects of the other administrative support staff to insure that timelines are met.

Five years experience in secretarial or administrative position.  Experience with human service agencies preferred. Must have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Access and Office 2010. Direct Support Providers Awake/Asleep Overnights Female Residential Behavior Program (Part-time)

Seeking responsible, caring person with high attention to detail and good follow through to support adult females who experience developmental disabilities and have exhibited challenging behaviors at times. Positive female role model preferred, who can provide consistency, close supervision and redirection as needed. Assist these women with learning appropriate social skills and boundaries, participating in recreational activities and building independence with activities such as cooking, cleaning, money management, personal care and finding or maintaining employment. Staff will be driving individuals to appointments, recreational activities and places of employment with their own vehicle. Previous experience supporting individuals with behaviors required. Candidates must abide by strictly upheld processes and protocols. Paid mandatory training is provided during weekday business hours. Openings for responsible, detail-oriented Support Providers with patience and good follow through needed to support adult females and males with developmental disabilities who have exhibited challenging behaviors.

Seeking responsible, caring people with high attention to detail and good follow through to support adult males who experience developmental disabilities. Individuals in this program have exhibited high risk, challenging behaviors. Positive male role models preferred, who can provide consistency, close supervision and redirection as needed.

Assist the individuals in this program with learning appropriate social skills and boundaries, participating in recreational activities and building independence with activities such as cooking, cleaning, money management, personal care and finding or maintaining employment. Staff will be driving individuals to appointments, recreational activities and places of employment with their own vehicle. Previous experience supporting individuals with mental health issues or high risk behaviors required. Criminal Justice or professional legal system experience or education preferred! Candidates must have flexibility to work in different locations with a number of different individuals and abide by strictly upheld processes and protocols. Training is provided. Enhanced Family Care Program Manager (Full-time)

Community Bridges is seeking the right person to be responsible for all aspects of operation of individual services and/or other service in regard to Enhanced Family Care or Home Providers, ensuring that each person receiving services is provided supports as needed to develop and maintain one’s independent living skills, while preserving one’s dignity and self-respect. The Program Manager will ensure that DMHDS certification standards as well as agency policy and procedures are upheld throughout the delivery of services. They will be responsible for the management of service operations and Home Provider supervision. Candidates must have previous EFC/Home Provider experience,  and at least 2 years of experience working with people who have a disability, involving at least 1 year of supervisory experience of personnel and administrative duties. In Home Support Provider (Less than part-time)

Community Bridges is currently hiring staff for our In home Support program in the towns of Allenstown, Concord, and Loudon. We are seeking staff who are committed to supporting individuals in reaching their highest potential. As an In Home Support Provider you will be responsible for providing supports to children and teens between the ages of 3-21, who experience a disability, with guidance and oversight from a parent, both in the home and the community, as well as helping them to increase various skills.

A high school degree or equivalent is required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently are a must. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required. We are looking for a team player that believes in the value of diversity that represents the core principles of Community Bridges and the unique contribution that each person adds to the community. START Awake Counselor (Per Diem)

START is a systems-linkage approach to supports and is an acronym for Systemic–Therapeutic-Assessment–Resources – and Treatment. The individuals who benefit from START have intellectual disability and mental health conditions or challenging behavior that is negatively affecting their quality of life. The underlying philosophy of START is that services will be most effective when everyone involved in supports and treatment is allowed to participate actively in treatment planning and service decisions. In order for this to occur, collaboration between service providers and with service users is needed.

Community Bridges is seeking Per Diem (as needed) Overnight Awake Counselor to staff our new START Center. Within the START Center, Counselors may assist with daily living skills, facilitate therapeutic sessions, provide de-escalation and intervention services, and support guests on START goals and activities. Communication and collaboration with guests, families and team members and completing documentation are also key elements to this role. 2 Awake Counselors are scheduled each night. Ideal candidates will be calm, caring, creative people who are engaging, take initiative, have common sense and lots of energy. They must be comfortable with short term interactions with guests who may visit regularly or only on occasion. Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, plus 2 years of experience supporting people who have an Intellectual or Developmental Disability, challenging behavior or have mental illness issues are preferred. Candidates must have a High School Diploma, plus 5 years experience working with people experiencing an Intellectual or Developmental Disability or challenging behavior.
