Community Bridges is primarily funded through state and federal funding as a designated Area Agency. This allows families and individuals to access needed support and services. However, these funds are only for limited use in these programs.

Donors like you enable the quality and innovation of delivering person-centered support and services.

As a non-profit 501(c) (3) organization, your donation to Community Bridges is tax-deductible.

There are many ways to support our mission

Matching Gifts

Many companies offer matching gift programs to encourage employees to contribute to charitable organizations. Sometimes, they match 100% or more of your contribution! If your employer offers a matching gift program, remember to follow their matching gift process.

If your organization works with the United Way, you can designate your donation to Community Bridges by requesting that it go to us—write “Community Bridges” in the Employee Contribution Form.

For more information on matching gifts, please contact us.

Planned Giving

Planned giving involves integrating a donor’s charitable gift into his or her overall financial, tax, and estate planning objectives to maximize the benefits to both the donor and Community Bridges.

Talk to your estate planner about including Community Bridges, and let us know.

In-Kind Donations

Are you looking to make a difference in the community? Are you a business looking to make an impact? Would you be willing to provide an item that would benefit our organization?

In-kind donations are goods donated in lieu of a monetary contribution. These include clothing, food, craft items, equipment, free access to rental items, and more.

In-kind donations that comply with applicable tax laws can receive the same tax treatment as monetary gifts.

All In-Kind contributions are subject to inspection prior to acceptance. Community Bridges reserves the right to reject a contribution based on safety, wear, and/or maintenance.
