About Community Bridges

Community Bridges, established in 1982, is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the integration, growth, and interdependence of individuals with developmental disabilities within their communities. We build on the strengths of individuals and their families by identifying access barriers and developing creative solutions to encourage meaningful community engagement.

We offer a diverse range of personalized services to meet the needs of those we serve throughout their lives.

Our services include, but are not limited to:
Service Coordination helps identify community resources available to individuals.
Early Supports and Services provides support and therapeutic services to children from infancy to age three, as well as their families.
Family or Self-Directed Services offer in-home support and services that are directed and managed by the participants themselves.
Community Choices, our provider program, offers services for adults, including shared and staffed homes, as well as community-based activities and employment support.

Community Bridges is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, which includes individuals living with disabilities and family members of those with disabilities. This ensures a valuable perspective and understanding of the families we support. Additionally, our Family Support Council, comprising family members with loved ones who have disabilities, plays a crucial role in advocacy and advisory efforts.
