Concord, New Hampshire (August 1, 2014) – Community Bridges, a non-profit agency committed to advancing the integration, growth and interdependence of people with disabilities within their home communities, is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Jeffcote as Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). An experienced CFO, Jeffcote most recently served as an advisor to Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital.
In his role at Community Bridges, Jeffcote will work closely with the executive director to develop and implement an overall strategy for the long-term success of the organization. Jeffcote will oversee all financial, operations and cost control efforts, and will help senior leadership strengthen strategic partnerships with organizations seeking trusted and cost-efficient resources for individuals with disabilities and their families.

Jeffcote started his career as an auditor at Blue Cross Blue Shield, later joining Wentworth-Douglass Hospital as a controller. After that, he joined Hospital Corporation of America (HCA), a corporation that at the time owned 350 hospitals, as director of reimbursement for the Northeast region. Jeffcote has since served as CFO of several hospitals and medical centers, assisting with all aspects of financial management as well as strategic planning. Jeffcote is a native of Providence, Rhode Island and a current resident of New Hampshire. He holds an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida.
