To All Community Bridges Employees:

NH DEPARTMENT OF SAFETY ISSUES STATEMENT FOLLOWING REPORTS OF NATIONWIDE UNREST AHEAD OF PRESIDENTIAL INAUGURATION

Community Brides remains committed to ensuring the safety and security of their staff and individuals in our service delivery system. We have been informed that the Department of Safety will monitor any credible threats and is prepared to respond to any emergency over the next week. The Department of Safety is prepared to ensure that any protestors in our areas of jurisdiction are able to freely express their right to demonstrate provided they comply with all state and federal laws. “The New Hampshire State Police takes safety and security threats very seriously, and has a team of experts working on operations plans to ensure safety.”

Based on this information noted by the Department of Safety I am requiring any staff, while on duty with individuals served by Community Bridges , refrain from being in the area in and around the state house over the weekend and the days leading up to the Presidential Inauguration on January 20, 2021. Please assist those you work with to understand that participation and protest is their right, however the health and safety of our staff and the community members they support is Community Bridges top priority.

Thank you,

Ann
