As you may know, on March 1, 2022, Community Bridges became aware of unusual activity within our computer network. We took prompt action to secure our network environment, and our team is working around the clock to restore access to systems and data in the most safe and secure manner possible.
We immediately initiated an internal investigation and contacted our cyber insurance carrier. As part of our cyber insurance incident response plan, we also engaged leading third-party cybersecurity experts and incident response counsel to assist with determining what happened and whether any personal information may have been accessed during the incident.
At this time, we cannot estimate when email and electronic systems access will be fully restored. We continue to provide full services to members of the community, and staff members remain available to you by phone and in person.
We want to assure you of our unfailing commitment to community members, business partners, and staff. The restoration and the protection of the data entrusted to us are of the highest priority. Our review of the incident is ongoing, but if it is determined that any personal information was accessed during the incident, we will provide notification to all impacted individuals consistent with relevant state and federal laws.
